William "Bill" Dale Myers, 86, died May 16, 2022 at his home in Hutchinson. He was born August 17, 1935 in Burrton, KS, the son of John and Zoela (Tucker) Myers.

On October 17, 1954, Bill married Virginia Magby in Hutchinson, KS. She died September 22, 2014. Bill graduated from Burrton High School and attended Vo-Tech where he received a certificate in automotive mechanics. On July 27, 1954, Bill joined the United States Army. He served in the Vietnam War and received several medals and badges. He was honorably discharged on October 31, 1974. He was a member Eastwood Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; a daughter, Patty Jury; siblings, Jim Myers and Janet Beeney.

Survivors include his children, William D. (Marjorie) Myers Jr., Kenneth Myers, Nancy Davenport and Susan (Jim Hubbard) Johnson; a brother, Richard (Margaret) Myers; son –in- law, David Jury; 18 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. Burial will take place at Laurel Cemetery, Haven, KS. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral chapel. Memorials may be given to Kindred Hospice and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel. There will be a luncheon provided at Eastwood Church of Christ, 2500 N. Plum St, Hutchinson, at 12:30 p.m. that family and friends are welcome to attend.
