William E. "Bubba" Hunt Jr. 63, passed away on August 16, 2024, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS.  He was born January 20, 1963, in Sterling, KS, the son of William E. and Brenda Joyce (Ibach) Hunt.

William graduated high school in Honolulu, Hawaii and was a general Laborer for an airplane manufacturing company.  In 1979, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1982.  On February 1, 1989, William married April Weber in Hutchinson, KS.

William enjoyed playing dominos, cards, and spending time with his grandchildren.  Every evening, he would go and visit his neighbor having good conversations.  William was an avid KC Chiefs fan and played fantasy football.

Survivors include his wife, April; children, Brandon W. Hunt, Alana M. Hunt, Jessica L. Avery, David E. Sinnett Jr, and Joshua B. Hunt; sisters, Connie Carithers and Theresa Andsinger; stepsiblings, Gary Barr, Michael Barr, Kathy Wright and Diane Barr; and six grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, LaDonna Sinnett; nephew, Caden Robert Avery, and a grandson, Cameron.

Graveside service inurnment will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th St, Hutchinson. There will be a gathering at the VFW after the service. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
