Veronica Vanessa "Ms. V" Spiller-Guess, 68, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS.  Ms. V was born June 4, 1956, in Gary, IN, the daughter of James and Edda-Mae Henderson.  On December 31, 2012, she married George Guess in Hutchinson, KS.

Ms. V graduated from Emerson High School, Gary, IN, in 1974. She worked as a CNA and most recently worked as a cashier at the main street Dillons in Hutchinson. Ms. V was known for being a Christian lady and her love for Jesus.

Ms. V was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Sanders; a daughter, Rosa Warner; four brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband, George; sisters, Darlene Henderson and Christine Henderson; and six grandchildren.

Per Ms. V's wishes, cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Veronica Spiller-Guess Memorial Fund and can be sent in care Hutchinson Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS 67502.
