Vera E. Wing, 82, died on October 30, 2018 at Diversicare in Hutchinson, KS.

She was born on September 3, 1936 in Hoxie, KS, the daughter of Charles and Goldie (Lewis) Taylor. On November 23, 1959 she married Frederick H.Wing. Vera was a homemaker and also worked at Town Pump and Prime Time in Inman for many years. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Fred; sister, Marvelene Osborne. Survivors include her daughter Lana Harden, Hutchinson; sister Etta J. Timken, Hoxie; grandchildren, Kelsey (Ryan) Boster, Taylor Harden (Nick Nelson), all of Hutchinson; and great grandchildren, Trae England, Tate England, Rylan Boster, Kelton Boster, and Addison Boster.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with family greeting guests from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel & Crematory. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson. There will be a private family burial. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vera Wing Memorial Fund in care of the funeral chapel.
