Urusula Joan Reese passed away April 7, 2018 at Presbyterian Manor in Arkansas City, Kansas.

Urusula Joan was born June 5, 1927 to Edgar and Myrtle (Porter) Starlin in Oxford, Kansas. She grew up in the Oxford community; graduating from Oxford High School in 1945. She later moved to Hutchinson, Kansas for several years, then moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1997 returning to live in Oxford may 2016.

She married Ora Robert Reese in October 1972. He preceded her in death in September 1980.

She is survived by her granddaughter Tonya Smith and husband Andrew of Boca Rotan, Florida; great grandson Jokab Smith of Boulder, Colorado; and sister-in-law Chalea Starlin of Oxford, Kansas and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her parents, daughter Edith Kathryn Smith; brothers Estel, Melvin, Richard, DeWayne, and Robert Starlin; sisters Irene Crabtree, Ila Whitley, Ettabelle Case, Betty Starlin and Melba Bennett.

A book signing will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS.
