Teresa Mae Nachtigal, 73, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS.  Teresa was born July 4, 1950, in Beatrice, NE, the daughter of Clarence and Viola (Haecker) Huls.  On July 31, 1970, she married George Nachtigal at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, KS.  They were married for 39 years before he passed away in 2009.

Teresa graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1968. Teresa loved to play Texas Hold'em, playing bingo for many years at Friendly Bingo in Hutchinson and watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Clarence; and her husband, George.

Survivors include her mother, Viola; three sons, Chad (Debbi) Nachtigal, Jason (Leta) Nachtigal, and Jamie (Misty) Nachtigal; one sister, Marsha (Max Carter) Cline; eight grandchildren, Tarryn (Rita) Riney, Josh Nachtigal, Dalton Hall, Logan (Shelbi) Hall, Reece Marshall, Malayna Nachtigal, Briton Nachtigal and Syrena Nachtigal; seven great grandchildren, Peyton Nachtigal, Xyla Nachtigal, Remington Riney, Oliver Fenwick, Ayven Hall, Vivi Riney and Henry Hall; and her beloved dog, Ginger.

Per Teresa's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April, 6, 2024 at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd, Hutchinson, KS.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and can be sent in care Hutchinson Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS 67502
