Tammy Marie Downing, 63, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at her home in Hutchinson, KS.  She was born May 12, 1960, in Pratt, KS, the daughter of Donald and Floy (Dauner) Miller.

In 1978, Tammy graduated from South East High School in Wichita, KS.  On April 12, 1980, she married Roger Downing in Wichita, KS.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma and friend.

Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Donald Miller; son-in-law, Alex Curiel; uncle, Eddie Dauner, and aunt, Loretta White.

She is survived by her mother, Floy Miller; husband, Roger Downing; children, Jason (Rachel) Downing and Jennifer Downing; sister, Karen (David) DeJohn; four grandchildren, Gavin and Dante Downing, Jayden and Brayden Curiel; and her fur babies, Cochise, Shilo, Ariel and Kiva.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502, with Reverend Charles R. Crumble, Sr. officiating.  Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
