Sylvia Perrone, 79, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in Burrton, KS. Sylvia was born on November 24, 1944, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Tony Gallardo and Mary (Mona) Schnurr (Wayne Schnurr).

Sylvia graduated from Hutchinson High School in the class of 1962. On July 3, 1967, Sylvia married William "Billl" Perrone in Hutchinson, KS. Sylvia served as a librarian at Hutchinson Public Library for many years. She enjoyed shopping, reading, spending time with her grandchildren and was an amazing cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill; brothers, Tony Gallardo, Freddie "Bla" Gallardo and Wayne Schnurr.

Sylvia is survived by her three children, Nancy (Tim) Grieff, Brian (Emily) Perrone, Billy Perrone; sister, Vivian Bribiesca; grandchildren, Austin, Alec, Adam Ella, Eliza, Derek and Jenah.

A graveside service will be 10:30 Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may sign the book Monday, July 15, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hutchinson Public Library Children's department and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS 67502.
