In memory of Steven Dennis Moore, also known as Steve, Dad, and Grandpa, who passed away in Hutchinson, KS on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 6:03 A.M., 2 months after his 75th birthday.

Steve was born on June 6, 1948 in Hutchinson, KS. His parents were Otto David Moore and Marian Altabell Patten-Moore, the youngest of 8 siblings: Wesley, Beverly, Eugene, Connie, Allan, Kermit, and Patricia (all deceased).

He was married to Roxyanne Starner in Hutchinson and had two amazing children, Penny and Dustin. Steve graduated from Haven High School and enjoyed spending his time fishing and racing. Achievements include being a standout dad and grandpa.

Steve is survived by his wife, Roxy; daughter, Penny and husband Robbie; son, Dustin and wife Angel; as well as 6 grandkids: Steven and wife Tiara, Robbie S. and wife Allie, Derek and Penny, Nikki, Gavin, Baby Jake; and 4.5 great grandkids. And of course, his beloved pets, Duke and Munchkin Moore.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice House , and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
