Sandra Kay Rehburg, 68, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS.  She was born September 12, 1955, in Pontiac, MI, the daughter of Clifford L. and Pearl J. (Harlow) Binning.

In 1982, Sandra met Virgil Newman in Mildord, UT.  They spent 41 years together.  Sandra enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, especially ones that were more than 1,000 pieces, bingo, playing card games and was great at blackjack.  She also enjoyed singing and art and was a fantastic artist.  She had two cats that she loved.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Michael Binning.

She is survived by her son, Austin Newman; ex-partner, Virgil Newman; sisters, Sharon Coose, Janet Beckham and Deana Brunk; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.  A private family Celebration of Life will be held later date.  To help the family with funeral expenses, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made payable to Austin Newman or Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.  They can be sent to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
