Ruben Garcia, 68, died on Friday, April 13, 2018 Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS. He was born on January 10, 1950, in Los Angeles Poanas, Durango, Mexico, the son of Sergio and Sara Garcia.

Rubenworked a variety of positions during his lifetime, including meat packing plant at Excel in Dodge City, Kansas and a cabinet maker for Liberty Homes and Wheeled Coach where he retired in 2005.

Ruben is survived by his parents; loving wife, Susan Nevins; children, Ruben Garcia Jr., Margarita Castillo, Gisela Garcia and Davida Hunter; brothers, Gilbert Garcia, Sergio Garcia, Juan Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Alvaro Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Jose Luis Garcia; sisters, Ludivina Garcia, Dolores Garcia, Anita Garcia and Juana Garcia; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel from 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow visitation on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in South Hutchinson, KS. Father Ned Blick will be officiating.

Graveside services will follow Mass, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS.
