Ronald Herbert McBride, 68, passed away on January 27, 2025, in Hutchinson, KS.  He was born on November 27,1956, in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Herbert and Ione (Bartlett) McBride.

Ron graduated from Nickerson High School in 1975.  He worked for Sonoco Hutchinson Paper Mill for over 45 years and retired in 2023.  Ron was part of the Union Paper Makers #1350 and the Steel Makers # 1350 Union. He was a member of the Hutchinson Water Sports Club.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Linda Powell and a grandson, Zacheriah Anderson.

He is survived by his daughters, Tiffanie (Duncan) Duncan and Renea (Doug) Anderson; a son, James (Hannah Hildreth) McBride; sisters, Deborah McBride Brown, Jacque (Randy) Holloway; seven grandchildren, Zane Clune, Avery Kellogg, Nova Laughlin, Lucas, Jacob, Tobias, and Matthew Anderson; and one great grandchild, Hayden Kellogg.

Per Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place.  Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
