Roger L. Tomlin, 74, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Good Samaritan in Hutchinson, KS. Roger was born March 14, 1945 to Charley and Mabel (Lillie) Tomlin in Hutchinson. Roger graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1963 then joined the Navy. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Roger married Patricia St. Louis. They later divorced. Roger moved to Manitou Springs, CO and worked at the United States Air Force Academy. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tommy, Charles, Bill and Donnie; sisters, Imogene Scott, Phyllis Bianciella, JoAnn Lewis; two nieces and two nephews. Roger is survived by his son, Chad Tomlin of Kansas City, MO; brother, Amos Tomlin; sister, Shirley Swan both of Hutchinson, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 28, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bob Phipps officiating. Burial will take place at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Memorials may be given to Good Samaritan and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
