Rick Alan Williams, 68, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Rick was born June 21, 1951 in Wichita, KS, the son of Carl L. and Marjorie J. (Meade) Williams. Rick was united in marriage to Catherine Baker on June 14, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV. Rick graduated from Lyons High School and attended Barton Community College. He worked for INeeda Cleaners as a delivery driver. Rick had several hobbies over the years, woodworking, golfing, watching his grandson's Motocross and spoiling his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gary Williams.
Rick is survived by his wife, Kate; his son Jeremy (Ashley) Williams; and three grandchildren, Zade and Hadley Williams and Trey Sanders. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS, with Pastor Richard Haley officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
