Richard E. Rea, 65, passed away January 8, 2023, at his home in Hutchinson, KS.  He was born January 20, 1957.  Richard graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1975.  On November 18, 2022, Richard married Bonnie McDowell in Hutchinson.  Richard worked as a convenience store cashier for many years.  He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Cub Scouts in Waynesboro, VA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Taylor.

Richard is survived by his mother, Dorothy Taylor; wife, Bonnie Rea; siblings, James Taylor, Charles Taylor, Cindy Rose, Kathy Beezley and Vicky Jones.

There will be no services held at this time.  Memorial Contributions are suggested to Traditions Home Health and Hospice and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30 ^th Ave, Hutchinson, KS, 67502.
