Ramona V. Stockton, 91, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie, Ks.

Ramona was born July 1, 1927 in Greenvalley, WI, the daughter of George and Caroline (Wunsch) Hytry.

Ramona graduated from Halder High School in Wisconsin and attended Viterbo University where she received her Master's degree in Art Education. She was a nun at St. Rose Convent and later retired as an art teacher in Wisconsin.

On December 29, 1966 she married Thomas R. Stockton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Thomas; brothers, David and Danny; sister, Bea; son Jeffrey Stockton; and a grandson Patrick Stockton.

Ramona is survived by her daughters, Loralie Stockton and Kathy Garcia; sisters, Elaine, Lenore, Wanda, Veronica, Nita, Donna, Mary Eve, Carol and Neenie; grandchildren, Shane Stockton, Travis Stockton, Jesse Stockton, Christian Oakley, Zach Stockton and Jennifer Stockton; great grandchildren, Lyrik, Kierra, Silas and Harli.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given to Serenity Hospice and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
