Ralph D. Horton, 70, of South Hutchinson, died on March 14, 2018, in South Hutchinson. He was born on March 14, 1948 in Lockwood, Missouri to Glenn R. and Annie L. (Clarner) Horton.

Ralph worked for the Department of Corrections as a guard for many years. He was also employed during his lifetime with the Hutchinson News, Shears Construction, Eaton's and Collins Bus.

Some of his favorite pastimes were traveling, woodworking, collecting and camping. Earlier in life, Ralph was very active with the local Boy Scouts of America as a troop leader.

He also had been active with the Pathfinder group, for the 7th Day Adventist Church of Hutchinson.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation has taken place.
