Hutchinson –Raetta E. Jarmer, 59, died on January 28, 2021 at Hutchinson Reginal Medical Center in Hutchinson, KS. She was born March 7, 1961 in Ulysses, KS., the daughter of Robert E. and Evelyn M. (Newton) Nichols.

Raetta moved to Hutchinson in 1972 and graduated from Buhler High School in 1979 and Hutchinson Community College where she received his Master's Degree in accounting in 1982. Raetta worked for APAC- Kansas as a lead payroll administrator. She was a very loving and caring individual. She enjoyed being around and helping others. She liked animals and loved riding horseback, enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with her grandchildren. On September 9, 2017, Raetta married Larry D. Jarmer in Hutchinson, KS.

Raetta was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eldon and Randall Nichols; and a sister, Louise Tharp.

Survivors include her husband Larry; daughter, Alyssa (Gary) Traffas; step-daughters, Heather (Zach) Peel and Christie (Jason) Warren; step-son, Daniel (Sarah) Wilson Jr.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
