Phillip Benecio Caudillo, 88, passed away February 5, 2022 surrounded by his family.

He was born on August 22, 1933 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Sebastian F. and Sanjuana Mora Caudillo.

He married Katherine Pritchard in Newkirk, Oklahoma. She survives.
He is also survived by his children Steve (Dolores), Robbie, Robin (Richard) Hobbs, Randy (Christa), Renee (Vernon) Miller, and Rachelle (Tim) Crater. He adored his 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and expecting a great- great grandchild in June. Also surviving are brothers, Gabe and Sebastian, and sister, Irene Owston.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, sons, Rickie and Ronnie, brother, Carmen, and sisters Mary Mendoza and Judy Ruiz.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953. He was a Korean War Veteran and was honorably discharged. He had the opportunity to go on a Kansas Honor Flight where he had the privilege of setting the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Phil was an extraordinary man with a personality loved by all. He was friendly, kind, genuine, honest, dependable, and quick-witted. He was a talented, skilled handyman who enjoyed helping anyone who had a project or service to be done. He never said "no" when he was asked to help no matter the job.

Parish Rosary service will be Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Fairlawn Burial Park.
