Paulene M. Schrock, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend was born on December 4, 1932, in Richland, NE.  She was the beloved daughter of George and Dorothy Kohler.

Paulene graduated from Columbus High School.  In 1963, she settled in Hutchinson, KS where she worked at Northgate National Bank.  On July 22, 1972, Paulene married Melvin Schrock at Trinity United Methodist Church.  They enjoyed 52 years together. Paulene was known for her kindness and her love of Polka music.

She is survived by her son William (Mary) Ritzdorf; granddaughters, Kyrie G. Ritzdorf and Erika D. Ritzdorf; a great grandson, Cailen Drown; stepdaughters, Katheryn (Ric) Rudiger and Marjean (Alan) Meeder.

Paulene was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Schrock; her parents, George and Dorothy Kohler; sister, Betty; daughter, Barbara Ritzdorf; and step grandsons, Mitchell Mueller and Dallis Grubbs.

Per Paulene's wishes, cremation has taken place.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hutchinson Humane Society or Gentiva Hospice and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
