Hutchinson - Pamela Kay Niehaus, 76, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Diversicare of Hutchinson.  She was born February 3, 1946 in Conrad, Iowa to Allan Virgil and Shirley Maurine (Green) Hillygus.

Pam attended Conrad High School in Conrad, Iowa and graduated in 1959.  She went on to work as a dental assistant in Iowa Falls, Iowa.  She married Dennis Ray Niehaus and they had two sons, Darin and Dana Niehaus.  Dennis passed away on December 30, 2000.  Pam spent her time helping out at the local senior center and at her church, First Presbyterian Church in Hutchinson.  She also enjoyed crafting.

Pam is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; her son, Dana Niehaus, who passed away in 1993; her sister, Darlene Crowder; and her grandparents.

She is survived by her son Darin Niehaus and her close friend, Kim Walker; as well as many other friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 700 E. 25 ^th Ave, Hutchinson, KS, on Thursday, December 8, at 12:00 P.M.  Pam will be buried next to her beloved husband and son, Dana, in the spring at Faith Presbyterian Cemetery, Grundy County, Iowa.  Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
