Norval S. Babcock, 100, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Diversicare, Hutchinson, KS. Norval was born February 19, 1920 in Sheridan, KS, the son of Leland and Francis (Mathews) Babcock. On November 7, 1941 he married Virginia Clemments in McPherson, KS. Norval joined the United States Air Corps in January of 1942 and was honorably discharged in November of 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Virginia, two sons, Richard and Phillip Babcock and two sisters, Roseva Lawrence and Margaurite Dean. Norval is survived by a son Gary (Francine K.) Babcock of Hutchinson; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Babcock of Holcomb; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be given to First Church of the Nazarene and sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
