Nathalie Jean Schlatter, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born on February 27, 1936 to Jc W. and Mabel Pedersen. She was married to her sweetheart, Russell Schlatter, for 65 years and they had two sons. She is survived by a brother, Jim (Kara), two sons, Daniel (Susie) of Wichita and Michael (Rhonda) of Turon; four grandchildren, Erica Vernon (Will), Alicia Glaser (Rowdy), Leslie Scripsick (Kelly) and Sylvia Rusic; four great-grandchildren, Bryer and Bailey Glaser, Gunnar and Trey Scripsick. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce (Pedersen) Boyle.Nathalie also had numerous friends she met through her civic interests and volunteering. She pursued several careers throughout her life including social work, food service and clerical. She loved spending time with family and attending social engagements. You could always find Nathalie in her flower beds or greeting visitors to the Kansas State Fair. There will be no visitation as cremation was chosen. A Graveside service will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Reno County in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
