Mindy Rose Rios, 45, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS.  Mindy was born on May 16, 1979, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Lisa (Cabral) Strong.

Mindy graduated from McPherson High School in 1998.  Mindy had a very big and giving heart.  She would remember everyone's birthday and was always there for everyone regardless of what she was going through.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and cats.  She could be found outside in the yard helping her mom, doing yard work.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Judy Cabral.

Mindy is survived by her mother, Lisa Strong; brother, Cody Strong; uncles, Alex (Nicole) Cabral and Rocky (Linda) Zimmer; nephew, Wade Strong; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2025, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS. Friends and family may sign her book at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 4pm and the morning of the service.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice House and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
