Mildred M. Swain, 84, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, at Waldron Place, Hutchinson, KS. Mildred was born April 13, 1937, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Theodore. R and Doris V. (Troy) Carson. On June 16, 1957, Mildred married James (Jim) E. Swain in Hutchinson. He died on June 9, 2019. Mildred was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; siblings, Roger and Robert Carson, Diana Wilkenson and Marjorie Wandel. Mildred is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. with family greeting from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. A private burial will take place at Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice House and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
