Mie Martin Castaneda Jr, 32, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, KS.

Mie was born November 22, 1989, in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Martin Castaneda Sr. and Deborah Sanchez. Mie graduated from Trinity Catholic High School in 2008 and attended Hutchinson Community College. He later attended Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Dallas, TX. Mie had a huge passion for art and fashion and was an avid magazine collector. He was a member of the Catholic Youth Organization and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Carol Sanchez; paternal grandfather, Liborio Castaneda; aunt, Michelle Sanchez-Woodson; uncle, Kenneth Woodson; and other numerous relatives.

Survivors include his parents, Martin and Deborah; two brothers, Liborio M. and Marcelino T. Castaneda; and God children, Ana and Adrian Rodriguez and Zae Thompson.

Parish Rosary service will be Monday, June 6, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to Hutchinson Humane Society and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
