Mary Jane Johnson, 80, of McPherson, KS passed away on June 11th, 2022. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Dean and children, Michelle, Jennifer, Thomas & Hilary; along with 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She leaves behind her sisters Jolene, Kathy, Shirley and Leanda. Mary was born in Little River, KS to Robert and Barbara Ehly; they raised her in Mitchell, KS. She enjoyed being part of the Mighty Mitchell 4H Club, where she found her love for animals. She attended high school in Lyons, KS. Her favorite pastime times included thrift store shopping, taking care of her farm and domesticated animals, and reading cookbooks. To know Mary, was to love Mary. She could light up a room with her beautiful, happy, smile.She was an amazing wife, mother, sister and friend. No memorial service or funeral is planned. You can shed a tear that she is gone, and do what she would have wanted, and smile because she lived. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
