Marsha Elaine Hanavan, 74, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, Kansas.

Marsha was born on December 23, 1947, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Martin and Dolly (Guttsche) Tucker. She attended Hutchinson High School and graduated in 1966. She was a seamstress and worked for Midwest Sewing. On June 5, 1966, she married Joel Hanavan. They shared 30 years of marriage prior to his death on October 27, 1996. On July 8, 2008, Marsha and Don Jordan became partners. Marsha was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was an active member of the Salt City Cruisers Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joel; and a sister, Winona Ragsdale.

Marsha is survived by her partner, Don; a daughter, Alisa (James "Bo") Muir; a son, Leland (Brenda) Hanavan; sister, Martha Stroup; brother, Charles Tucker; three grandchildren, Evan (Kaytie) Muir, Dedra (Charlie) Beetch and Matthew Hanavan; and two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Selena Muir.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. A private graveside inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Reno County or Salt City Cruisers Club and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
