Marjorie Wandel, 84, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS.

Marjorie was born April 13, 1937, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Theodore R. and Doris V. (Troy) Carson. On July 10, 1955, she married Michael L. Trotter in Hutchinson. He died on April 18, 1967. She married James C. Wandel on May 7, 1993 in Hutchinson. He died on June 22, 2012. She was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson and was a homemaker. Marjorie was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Michael Trotter and James Wandel; a son, Michael Trotter; three brothers, Robert Carson, Roger Carson and George Carson; a sister, Diana Wilkinson and a granddaughter, Stephanie Trotter.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Annette Russett and Nola (Kevin) Doering; a step-daughter, Lynda (James) Johnson; a sister, Mildred Swain; three grandchildren, Nathan (Amber) Looney, Jaklynn (Nathan) Welker and Seth Russett; two step-grandchildren, Mandy (Lidia) Johnson-Lopez and Jennifer Johnson and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021, at First Southern Baptist Church, 1201 E. 23rd St., Hutchinson, KS, with Pastor Roy Jaye officiating. Burial will take place in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Reno County and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
