Marianne Redinger, 95, of Red Rock, Texas, died August 6, 2023, at Buda Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care, Buda, Texas. She was born on April 22, 1928, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Daniel and Hazel Edna (Brooks) Cavanaugh.

Marianne was an assembler for EATON Corporation in Hutchinson for 27 years.  She was a parish member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bastrop, Texas and Holy Cross Catholic Church, Hutchinson.

Marianne married Cecil Redinger on June 11, 1948, in Hutchinson. He died December 28, 2007.

Survivors include her children, Marsha Ireland and husband Edwin of Red Rock, TX, and Sharon Anderson and husband Sheldon of Little River; grandchildren, Scott Anderson, Shaun Hicks, Michelle May, Megan Villagomez, Michael Ireland, Meredith Gonzales, and Cody Ireland; several great-grandchildren; step sister, Rae Anne Del Pozzo, California; step brother, David Anthony Riccardo, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step mother, Effie Cavanaugh; sister, Colleen Armbruster; and step-sisters, Carma Lee Karstens and Trudy Warren.

Parish Rosary service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2631 Independence Rd, Hutchinson, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., with Father Will Stuever officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until Rosary time Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers; contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Association in Honor of Marianne Redinger and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
