Maria "Cuca" R. Macias De Gomez, 97, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. Maria was born January 18, 1925, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, the daughter of Anselmo Macias and Santos Torres. On May 18, 1944, Maria married Manuel Gomez, he precedes her in death.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Manuel; son, Antonio Gomez; a grandson, Alan Antonio Gomez; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Maria is survived by her 10 children, Alicia Gomez, Manuel Gomez, Jesus Gomez, Salvador Gomez, Juan Gomez, Irene Ramirez, Rafael Gomez, Sanjuana Nuncio, Jose Luis Gomez and Leticia Delgado; two sisters, Juanita Palomino and Eloisa Oritz; 39 grandchildren and numerous great grand and great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
