Margaret Ann Stapleton, 81 of Hutchinson, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025.

Margaret was born March 24, 1944, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Ralph (Laurene) Simmons and Marie Davis.  Margaret was a homemaker and her family has many cherished memories of family holidays and gatherings.   She loved puzzles, reading, crocheting and listening to music. Her favorite songs were Patsy Kline's "One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus" and Alan Jackson's rendition of "How Great Thou Art" as she and Robert listened and sang along with them often.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Janet Godfrey and Nancy White and daughter, Crystal Pederson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Earl Stapleton; daughter, Tina Marie Stapleton of Hutchinson; son, Charles Albert Stapleton and wife Debra of Madison, MS; daughter, Jennie Bemis of Wichita and her precious grandchildren, Angel Brawner, Anthony Stapleton, Christina Martin, Matthew Cole, Charles Stapleton Jr., Emily Meredith, Spencer Stapleton, David Stapleton, Amanda Crothers, Devin Bemis, Abrianna Bemis, Danielle Grado and numerous great grandchildren and family members that loved her.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
