Margaret M. Rich, 94, died May 18, 2020 at Mennonite Friendship Communities in South Hutchinson. Margaret was born March 20, 1926, in Hoisington, KS to Joseph and Mary Seger.

Margaret graduated from Hoisington High School with the class of 1944. She married Floyd L. Rich on May 26, 1946, at the First Methodist Church in Hoisington. Floyd passed away in 2013 after 67 years of marriage. Margaret worked at the First National Bank in Hoisington and later owned and operated Fashions Department Store for many years. She later worked as a Dispatcher for the Hoisington Police Department, followed by employment as Office Manager for Western Power. She completed her employment career at Superior Essex in Hoisington.

Margaret is survived by one daughter, Priscilla Hoover (James) of Hutchinson; two grandchildren, Susan and Matthew; and one great grandson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, plus furry companions, Sammy and Sparky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter and one brother.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will take place at Hoisington Cemetery.
