Makisha Dawn Lemonds, was born on November 6, 1980 in Lyons, Kansas to James Wolff and Mary (Lemonds) Wolff. She died on April 5, 2018 at the age of 37 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

She attended Fairfield High School, Langdon, KS and Haven High School, Haven, Kansas. She received her associate's degree from Hutchinson Community College.

Makisha had an infectious grin. She left an impression on everyone who she encountered and gave everything she had to those she loved. Her greatest accomplishments were her two boys, Hunter and Ashtun. She devoted her life to raising them with her characteristic strength and tenacity for life. She also loved to draw and have fun. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Preceding her in death is an uncle, Charles W. Lemonds Jr.; aunt, Margaret A. Gray and grandfather, Charles W. Lemonds. Sr.

Survived by her parents; sons, Hunter Ray Lemonds and Ashtun James Cochran.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:30 am at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, Hutchinson KS.
