Lou-Ann Stokely, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.  She was born April 11, 1937, in Ellinwood, KS, the daughter of Ellis and Marie (Senko) Snyder.

Lou-Ann graduated from Ellinwood High School.  On June 29, 1956, Lou-Ann married Gerald Stokely in Ellinwood.  Lou-Ann was a homemaker who made life special for her family.  She was a member of Full Gospel Fellowship Church, Hutchinson.

Lou-Ann is preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Ellis R. Snyder Jr.; brothers, Russell Snyder, Bobby Snyder, and Larry Snyder; and sister, Chloe White.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald; daughter, April Stokely; sons, Jerry (Cora) Stokely and Terry (Dawn) Stokely; sisters, Colleen Krom and Karen Melcher; grandchildren, Jennifer( Brian) Mencl, Jeremy (Katie) Stokely, Evan Stokely, Kristin Stokely, and Hannah Stokely; great grandchildren, Lainey and Isla Mencl.

A private graveside service will be held at Fairlawn Burial Park with Pastor Jerry Stokely officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the Full Gospel Fellowship Church and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
