Lily Irene Brooks, 92, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS.

Lily was born on October 10, 1932, in Kearney, NE, the daughter of Albert and Mae L. (Howell) Brisbin.  On February 20, 1950, she married Harry Brooks in Minden, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harry Brisbin; sisters, Violet Sheen and Velda Harrison; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Always.

Lily is survived by her husband, Harry Brooks; daughters, Judy (Robert) Tucker and Sharen (John) Blanton; sons, Kevin (Dana) Brooks, Matthew Brooks and Larry Brooks; grandchildren, Angela Tucker, April (David) Riney, Laura (Jason) Reed, Joshua (Jane) Brooks; great grandchildren, Balin Roen, Katlin Riney, Austin Reed, Tadan Reed; 3 step-great grandchildren and several step- great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2025, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 w. 4TH St. Hutchinson, KS.  Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Reno County and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
