Jr passed away on October 3, 2022 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center at the age of 86.  He was born on June 19, 1936 in Wichita, KS, the youngest of three children to Leslie Angel Sr. and Delphia (Daniels) Honemann.  He also had three step brothers and 1 step sister.  Jr married the love of his life, Viola on December 24, 1968 in Miami, OK.  They spent 55 incredible years together until her passing in March of this year.    They were blessed with seven children; Rocky Angel, Jean Angel (Rocket Ryals), Jeffrey Angel, Melinda Webb (Jack), Randy Jenkins (Janet), Felecia Danielski (Don) and Marty Otto.  They have 11 grandsons and 9 granddaughters as well as numerous great grandchildren.

Jr and Vi were owner operators of Jr Angel Construction Company.  They did all the concrete work and built numerous metal buildings throughout the central United States.  In his retirement years he worked just as hard building houses and garages on the land he owned for over 55 years.  He loved to fish, hunt, garden, drive racecars and mostly spend time with friends and family.  He never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his wife Viola; his parents, Leslie Angel and Delphia Honemann; brothers, Gene and Marty Angel; sister, Lea Angel; children, Jeffrey Angel and Rocky Angel.

Funeral will be Friday, October 7, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 East 30 ^th Ave., Hutchinson.  A visitation will be Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.  Burial will take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.  Please dress casual, jeans welcome.  To honor final wishes please send flowers or memorial to Salvation Army.
