Lenora Slaven, 76, passed away on March 17, 2020 at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. She was born March 03, 1944, in Newton, KS, the daughter of Norris and Mary (Curtiss) Nichols.

On June 9, 1978, Lenora married Gary Slaven in Newton, KS., he died June 28, 2019. She was a homemaker.

Lenora was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary; a daughter, Roberta Rogers; a son, Gerald Jr.; brothers, Kenneth Nichols, Norris Nichols, Morris Nichols, Freddie Nichols and Herbert Nichols; twin sisters; and grandchildren, Tiffany Matthews, Jerrod Fisher and Joshua Tacy.

Survivors include her daughters, Tammie Faulkner, Nonie Mae Green and DeAnna Fisher; sisters, Lela (Frank) Fisher and Alice Pugh; and 10 grandchildren.

A private burial has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 27, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, KS. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Hospice House and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
