Leland Leon "Robby" West, 76, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS.

Leland was born on September 22, 1948, in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Albert and Virginia (DeWater) West.

Leland married Rita Williams in December of 1972 in Hutchinson, KS. He worked for Blount in Lewiston, ID, before he retired. He was a member of Full Gospel Church and New Life Church of Nazarene.

He loved to sing when at church and loved being around all of the people. He was a kind soul and was always there to lend anyone and everyone a hand.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timothy West; a daughter, Nichole West; brothers, Everett West and Rick West; and a brother-in-law, Ronnie McMillian.

Leland is survived by his wife, Rita; children, Eva Marie Rock, Tracy (Marlen) West and James West; sisters, Juanita Lowrey, Sheryl McMillian and Brenda Harmony; God daughter, Jordan Shawl; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Full Gospel Church, 412 E. Ave G. Hutchinson, KS.  Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
