Larry D. Means, 76, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at his home in Hutchinson, KS.

Larry was born October 19, 1943 in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Paul E. and Imogene Means. Larry graduated from Dodge City High School and Hutchinson Community College. He worked as a sales manager for 21 years and retired from Wonder Bread Hostess Cake. In his later years, he was a driver for Mennonite Friendship Communities. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1962. In June 1968, Larry married Mary C. O' Rorke in Hutchinson, KS. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Mary.

Larry is survived by his children, Tari (Tom) Rusinack; Tony (Jennifer) Means, Stacey (Jeramie Horton) Smith and Lisa Means; a sister, Marilyn Ochs, a brother, Ronnie Means; ex-wife, Trudy Miller; grandchildren, Kylee (Nick), Trishelle (Teddy), Tara, Devon (William), C.J. (Alyssa), Tiffany, Raven, Mason and Zander; great grandchildren, Sage, Elsa, Logan, Chevelle, Payten.

There will be no public visitation as the family has chosen cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
