Larry Dean Hudson, 77, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS.  Larry was born on September 17, 1946, in Eureka, KS, the son of Oscar and Evelyn (Walford) Hudson.

In 1965, Larry graduated from Eureka High School.  He worked for Eaton Corporation for 41 years as an assembly tester.  In 1965, he married Jennie Wood.  They later divorced.  On July 6, 1999, he married Cynthia Vick.  Larry spent his free time gardening and growing a variety of flowers.  He also enjoyed spending time fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Hudson; a son, Edward Hudson; and a brother, Derald Hudson.

Larry is survived by his mother, Evelyn Hudson; a son, James (Pam) Hudson; two daughters, Catherine (Mike) Turnbull and Julie Hudson; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A graveside inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery, 1407 E. 7th St., Eureka, KS.  A visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.  Memorials may be given to the Hospice House and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
