Kyle Travis Lee Chick, 41, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at his home in Hutchinson, KS.

Kyle was born October 22, 1980, in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Donald and Lynnette Chick. He was a Captain at Hutchinson Correctional Facility for 19 years. Kyle was dearly loved by many and will be forever missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Lynnette Oller-Chick of Hutchinson; wife, Catherine Chick and children, Samson Chick, Duncan Chick, Conner Chick and Ireland Chick all of the home; sisters, Melissa (Richard) Moore of McPherson and Amy (Richard) Gallmeier of Kansas City, MO; brother, Wade (Tomomi) Chick of Hutchinson; step-sister, Radona Reid of Hutchinson; aunts, Carolyn Zolman of Texas and Ellen Jean Hanson of Pratt; uncle Jerry Oller of Langdon and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
