Karen A. Lynch, 69, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at her home in Pretty Prairie, KS. She was born August 24, 1953 to Benny O. and Jacqueline (Mayfield) Williams in San Diego, CA.

Karen graduated from Grossmont High School. She made Windfield, Kansas her home in 1998, where she worked as a bus aide for 10 years for USD 465. Karen knew no strangers and had a love for animals.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Benny O. and Jackie; a brother, Benny M. Williams; and the father of her children, James Lynch.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Bann; her two daughters, MeLyssa Melvin and Chancey Lynch; her son, Ian Lynch; 8 nieces and nephews, Ronnie Lynn, April, Amy, Brandon, Charlie, Angie, Mitchell, and Jackie; and her 8 grandchildren, Kyla, Aiden, Draven, Anthony, Mila, Liam, Isaiah, and Avion.

Cremation has taken place and a service will be scheduled for a later date. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
