John David Starks' Obituary
John David Starks, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Mennonite Friendship Communities in South Hutchinson, KS.
John was born July 3, 1946 in Hutchinson, KS to Robert R. and Evelyn I. (Nevius) Starks. He graduated from Hutchinson High School on May 27, 1965. John enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 and was later honorably discharged in 1968. On August 4, 1974, John married Irene E. Berends in Hutchinson. She passed away on December 14, 2002. John worked as a machinist for Easton and retired in 2004. John enjoyed spending his free time reading.
John is survived by his brother's, Ronald R. (Lenora) Starks, Michael D. (Mary A.) Starks, both of Hutchinson; and a half-brother, Lester O. Hill of Florida.
He is preceded by his parents and wife, Irene.
Cremation has taken place. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
