John W. Palmatier, 55, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, at his home in Hutchinson, KS.

John was born November 17, 1965 in Hutchinson, the son of Raymond and Martha Zimmerman Palmatier. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1984. John was a journeyman for the Register Guard Newspaper in Eugene, OR. On August 7, 2004, he married Susan Gisick in Hutchinson. He was a member Teamster Local #206 and Eaton Gun Club. John loved hunting, fishing and camping.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha.

John is survived by his father, Raymond; wife, Susan; stepson, Christopher Carpenter; and siblings, Clyde Witt, Diana Brewer and Lorena Burgess.

A come and go Celebration of Life will be held on November 28, 2021 from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 1401 E. 1st Ave. Hutchinson. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
