Jewelene A. Cole, 61, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS. She was born June 18, 1961 in Elkhart, IN to Dorothy (Miller) Moorehead.

Jewelene attended Sebring High School in Sebring, FL and graduated in 1979. She then attended McPherson College. She also met the love of her life in McPherson and married Robert E. Cole on July 6, 1985 in Sebring, FL. Jewelene was a member of the Community Church of the Brethren and served as a deacon there for many years. Her favorite hobbies were crafting, painting, sewing, and camping.

Jewelene is survived by her husband, Robert of Hutchinson, KS; mother, Dotty Moorehead of Zephyrhills, FL; two sons, Ben (Kim) Cole and Eric Cole, both of Hutchinson, KS; daughter, Talia (Joshua) Menter of Lincoln, NE; brother, Paul Anglemyer of Brandon, FL; and five grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Mia, Alexis, Levi, Evan, and Laurelin.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Community Church of the Brethren , and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30 th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
