Jerry David Cline, 85, of South Hutchinson, passed away on November 1, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS. He was born on September 5, 1939, in Hutchinson, to Jesse and June (Payne) Cline.

Jerry graduated from Kingman High School and attended HCC where he received his associate's degree.  Jerry worked in engineering and drafting for several manufacturing companies in Hutchinson.  He was a marksman, loved to read books and travel, and working on the Navajo Mission in Arizona.  He was a member of and attended South Hutchinson Christian Church.

On May 27, 1961, he married Lois Goering in Pretty Prairie. They shared 60 years together.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Cheri Dixon (Tom), Hutchinson; son, Rick Cline, Wichita; honorary son, Anh Le of California; two sisters, Shirley Bontrager of Hutchinson and Nancy Clark of Sequim, Washington; grandchildren, Tyler Dixon (Melanie), Matthew Dixon (Leighann), and Jessica Toevs (David); nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Lois.
