Jeffrey A. Matthews, 40, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021. He was born February 28, 1981 in Hutchinson, KS to Debra Lynn Matthews (Suarez) and Jeffrey Francis Matthews.

On August 21, 2004, he married Heidi S. Hedrick in Pretty Prairie, KS. Together, they shared 16 years of marriage.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Heidi; and their daughter Addyson, both of Hutchinson; his parents Debra and Jeffrey; brother, Jason Matthews; grandparents, Beverly Suarez, Frank and Twila Matthews and a niece, Brooklin Matthews.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Justin and Jamie Matthews and Grandfather Andrew Suarez.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. with Pastor Ryan Raigoza officiating. Family will greet friends from 9:00am until service time Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hutchinson Humane Society and can be sent in care the funeral chapel.
