Janet Negrete, 62, of Husthcinson KS went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2026.  Janet was born on March 24, 1963, in Hutchinson KS, the daughter of Ignacio Negrete and Angelita Alfaro.

Janet graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1983.  She enjoyed bowling, tennis, puzzles, music and most of all dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Kathryn Garcia.

Janet is survived by her sister Ruth Ann (Mark) Reaves of Newtown, PA. nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS with Tammi Hope officiating.  A private burial will take place at a later date.  In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to TECH of Hutchinson KS and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
