James Raymond Phillips, 49, died November 19, 2021 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS.

James was born June 22, 1972, to Paul F. Phillips, Sr., and Evelyn L. (Hurt) Phillips. He graduated Nickerson High School in 1990 and went on to become a welder for KMW in Sterling, KS.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and his uncle, George Phillips.

He is survived by his only daughter, Janyssa (Daniel) Gobble; two brothers, Paul (Tess) Phillips and John (Debra) Phillips; and three grandchildren, Kenny, Lynette and Timothy.

Cremation has been chosen and there will be no services held at this time. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
